Layering my pantyhose and nylons

Hi everyone! Today, I’m thrilled to showcase my masquerade party looks and try out layering stockings over pantyhose for a glamorous and elegant vibe. Starting with a pair of Wolford Satin Touch 20s in a classic nude shade, these tights have the perfect gloss for a sophisticated base layer. They’re light, comfortable, and breathable—ideal for an indoor event like this masquerade.

For the outfit, I went with a stunning black sequin dress from H&M, paired with a black mask featuring floral details and gems to complement the sparkle of the dress. It’s all about tying the elements together for a cohesive, formal look. For footwear, I tried suede Sam Edelman sandals with a triangular heel—super stylish yet comfortable.

To elevate the outfit further, I layered black lace-top stockings over the Wolford tights. This combo added texture and a bold statement, perfectly matching the extravagance of a masquerade. I also tried a second footwear option—a pair of black suede booties with chunky heels for warmth and outdoor convenience.

After testing both shoe options, I decided that the layered pantyhose with the Sam Edelman heels was the winning combo. It offered the right balance of elegance and comfort for the occasion.
