Come with me to get my hearing tested at Hear Well Be Well Bracebridge

Hear Well Be Well Hearing Clinics invited me to come and experience their hearing test process.

I have had many different hearing tests at 5 different places and I have to say this one was different. There was one test that I had never experience before called the Field Aided Test. This is a hearing test that assesses how well a person hears with their hearing aids. Their goal is to get you as close to 100% as they can. Their patience and understanding during this process was phenomenal.

To help you through this process, Hear Well Be Well™ schedules regular appointments to monitor your progress and help you adjust to hearing well again. Of course you may book an appointment beyond these
standard appointments if something is not yet optimal for you.

2-WEEK FOLLOW-UP
 The purpose of this appointment, which will be scheduled approximately two weeks after your initial
hearing aid fitting, is to ensure your hearing aids are comfortable, the right fit, and that you’re hearing
well in all situations
30-DAY FOLLOW-UP
 The purpose of the 30-Day appointment is to ensure that both you and your brain are adapting well to
new sounds, to see if your hearing aids require any adjustments, and to review comfort and verify
speech clarity
90-DAY FOLLOW-UP
 The purpose of the 90-Day appointment is for the same reason as the 30-Day appointment above; to
ensure that both you and your brain are adapting well to new sounds, to see if your hearing aids
require any adjustments, and to review comfort and verify speech clarity
6-MONTH FOLLOW-UP
 The purpose of this appointment is to check-in to see that both you and your brain are adapting well to
new sounds, to determine if your hearing aids require any further adjustments, and to review comfort
and verify speech clarity
1-YEAR FOLLOW-UP+
 The purpose of this annual appointment is to retest your hearing to see if there are changes in your
hearing and, if needed, update the prescription inside your hearing aids to maintain the best possible
hearing experience for you
 Every year thereafter, you will be asked to be retested to maintain your best possible hearing
experience.
