Explanation (remember is NOT canon, it's my AU):
After player decided to escape from those smiling critters, he walk through the playhouse until he found Dogday. DogDay was tied up with his legs missing. Player then helped him to get him out, he successfully did. He then bring Dogday to a safe place with Poppy and Kissy.
After taking him to the safe place, player was getting exhausted of everything, dogday then told player to calm down, so he did. DogDay and poppy ever met before, that's why they both recognize each other. After the player left, DogDay then told the story of what happen to him by not letting Player to know..he didn't want player to be more upset.
Player then continue doing his job and finding clues, then he suddenly get a small headache, he was getting stress and frustrated. Before he wanted to leave the building he then hear a noise from the locker, it sounded like a body fall from the floor. He then turn around and it was Dogday's legs.. it was hidden inside the locker for years.
