On BRAZIL’s legendary TRANSPANTANEIRA through the world’s largest tropical wetlands

Nothing says adventure quite like a legendary road cutting through the wilderness of the world’s largest tropical wetlands. In this episode, we finally tackle what has become a rite of passage for many overlanders on their Panamerican journey: the Transpantaneira — 147 km of dirt road, 122 bridges, and endless wildlife across Brazil’s Pantanal.

Along the way we spot caymans, exotic birds, and even giant anacondas, before reaching Porto Jofre, a remote settlement deep in the jungle. From there, we set out on a boat tour in search of jaguars — but things don’t exactly go as planned…

Between scorching heat, sudden tropical storms, and muddy tracks that push both us and the Papero to the limit, this road trip turns into one of our wildest adventures yet. Come along as we discover the untamed beauty of Brazil’s Pantanal!
