Siem Reap Water Festival 2025 – Crowds, Street Food & Fireworks!
What a night! Siem Reap’s Water Festival was absolutely buzzing, the streets were packed, the riverbank was alive with music and lights, and the smell of grilled street food was everywhere.

I walked up one side of the river all the way to National Road 6, past the Palace and the outdoor gym, weaving through rows of food stalls before looping back down the other side. I stopped for some BBQ chicken (because how could I not?) just before the fireworks kicked off, and wow, they were spectacular… until one rogue firework came a bit too close for comfort! Security had to push everyone back fast.

It was a wild, joyful, unforgettable evening, and you’re coming along for every moment!

And to top it all off, on my way home I bumped into Clair and Jeremy from the YouTube channel For Riel Walking, what are the odds?
