Foreign Affairs minister S Jaishankar said the West has supported India's growth in the last 70 years by using a Goldilocks principle — they didn't want India to be too weak or too strong. Now, as the world becomes more multi-polar, it is in the West's interest to forge a new alliance with India, said Jaishankar.
