Weekend trip to Kovalam Beach, Trivandrum | Kerala trip in monsoon | Kerala Tourist Places

This monsoon in the month of June, I went on a weekend trip from Bangalore to Kovalam beach, Thiruvananthapuram, located in God's own country Kerala. Located around 20 km from Thiruvananthapuram the capital city of Kerala, Kovalam is a beautiful coastal town famous for its crescent-shaped beach, temples, resorts, sea food and ayurvedic massage center. In this vlog, I have covered the must visit tourist places in Kovalam.

In my first day, I visit the magnificent 30-metre tall Vizhinjam Lighthouse, located near the Kovalam beach and then I visit the world's richest temple, Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple located in Trivandrum. On the second day, I first went to Chenkal Maheswaram Sri Shiva Parvathy Temple which holds the world's tallest Shiva Linga and then I visited the Aazhimala Shiva Temple, known for the stunning 58 ft tall Gangadhareshwara sculpture of Lord Shiva, which is the tallest Shiva sculpture in Kerala. My trip ends with a visit to the lush green Thiruvananthapuram Zoological Park. I have also shared the restaurants where you can try some authentic dishes at very affordable rates.
