The exhibition
The brain is the most used and least understood natural phenomenon we know. The brain is ourselves and the engine behind all knowledge. Despite its central function and all the knowledge that is constantly being developed in this field, it's done little to bring the research and fascination out to people. In conjunction with the University of Oslo's 200th anniversary in 2011 working National Museum of Medicine / Technical Museum, and a number of collaborators presented an exhibition about the brain. The exhibition medium's possibilities are neurological research elucidated in a way that incorporates the audience in some of the brain's mysteries and the research behind the knowledge. Given the high number of people visiting the Technical Museum, and the Museum's position as a provider of technology, science and medicine, especially to children and young people, this has become an arena that affect a wide audience. The exhibition is the museum's main focus in 2011.
