I climbed the Old Man a few years ago and the view is breathtaking, this tune is dedicated to this beautiful part of England. The melody might well be suitable for any English/Scottish Pipe bands or as a possible Anthem for the Lake District Tourist Board.
This tune started life on my JP8000 Roland Synthesisor, when I was creating some new sounds (patches). I came up with a few good ones in the space of a very short time and they inspired to write some new melodies.
Coniston Old Man is the first I have had to time to record. More to follow.
