Brill Engineering was asked to verify if our home made impact huller could de-husk Kernza ® , a perennial wheat. The grain was submitted by Sprout Labs which plans to create and sell kits based on this design. We were very successful reaching around 85% hulling rate at 45 pounds per hour. Now we need someone to design a method of using a bicycle to generate the needed 3,000+ rpm.
