How to make a fingerprint necklace (Part 2 of 10 - How to make a reverse mold of a fingerprint)

In this series of videos, I will slowly take you through all the steps you will need to make a real silver fingerprint necklace using a magical clay-like material called silver clay.

You don’t need to make make a fingerprint necklace. You can use the videos to make a fingerprint charm or a bigger pendant or keyring with 2, 3, or more fingerprints.

I will cover all of the tools and materials you will need to use, including advice on the best type of silver clay to use at your own kitchen table.

So, how do you make silicone fingerprints (or thumbprints)?

In this second video, I will show you how to make a reverse silicone mould of a fingerprint using the original fingerprint mould that we made in video number 1.

We will create a real three-dimensional copy of our fingerprint. This will then be pressed into the surface of a flat, rolled-out piece of silver clay transferring the fingerprint to the clay surface.
