This week’s Wheelhouse Weekly takes you along for a different kind of sea trial adventure! We headed out in Punga, our aluminum dinghy, to try our luck halibut fishing near Hartley Bay on the Douglas Channel, close to Kitimat. Between provisioning runs, boat work, and time on the water, we share what life really looks like when you’re refitting a 78’ aluminum trawler and still trying to keep everything running.

Things don’t always go according to plan, and that’s part of the fun—especially when something unexpected happens right at the end of filming. This episode is a reminder that even while deep in a boat refit project, you’ve got to make time to enjoy the journey.
