Augmentation Evoker stood almost unchallenged at the top of WoW's M+ ladder for almost 2 years following its release. Never has World of Warcraft seen a single spec remain so dominant for so long, that it felt almost mandatory to bring one to every dungeon 🫠
But why was this the case? What exactly made WoW's first support spec so strong? I wanted to use this video not only to discuss the history of aug evoker in WoW's Mythic+ meta, but also as a means of highlighting how the spec perfectly captured some erronous beliefs which have run rampant through the Warcraft community for years 😓
