Seen here is a 7-car train comprised of Siemens Charger SC42-DM #301 and Bombardier Shoreliners and Comets cars making a stop at Marble Hill on the Hudson line as Train #805 to Poughkeepsie.
The long awaited debut of Metro-North's newest locomotives is finally here, with #301 entering service yesterday.
This locomotive is the first of its kind, and can utilize electric power (from GCT to Croton-Harmon/Southeast) and diesel power as well. A few more of these are on MNRR property, and will enter service over the coming days.
