チェスの試合記録「クイーン・サクリファイス」をもとに作曲され、Manuel Göttsching さんに捧げられた 2 人の奏者のための対話的音楽《Sacrifice》。このプロジェクトでは、その楽譜を介して、様々な音楽家との「音楽的対話」を記録していきます。楽器を知ること、楽譜を多面的に解釈すること、そして音を通して互いの言語を理解し合うことを目指す試みです。
第一回の対話の相手は、トランペット奏者・北陽一郎さん。
Sacrifice is a dialogic composition for two performers, written from the record of the chess match “Queen Sacrifice” and dedicated to Manuel Göttsching.This project documents “musical dialogues” with a wide range of musicians through the medium of its score. It is an exploration of instruments, of the multiplicity of score interpretation, and of understanding one another’s musical language through sound.
The first dialogue is with trumpeter Yoichiro Kita.
