A Bucket List Must? Dog Sledding on Norway’s Russia Border

This is one cruise excursion I’ll never forget. In the snowy far north of Norway, on the Russian border, I went dog sledding with a team of huskies through a winter wonderland. Then I visited the magical Snowhotel in Kirkenes — it’s like walking into a fairy tale made of ice.

Later, we docked in Vardø, a tiny Arctic town full of history and charm.

All followed by seeing the Northern Lights dancing across the sky. It was one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen.
