Kids do the weekly shop! They practice budgeting and shop for groceries. Fun video!

Today on ‪@Zachs-world‬ we help our kids understand how much groceries cost at one of the most inexpensive grocery stores on the planet....ALDI! They enjoy picking out fruits and vegetables and some of their favorite snacks. We meal plan for the week so we have a shopping list to try and stick to. We like to have spaghetti nights, pizza nights, stir fry, and taco nights. We also buy snacks and 15 pack for the price of 12 pack Lacroix for mommy and daddy.

The kids have their notebooks to write down the price of every item we put in our cart, so we're teaching them to read labels and help them understand how each item adds up to a large total at the end. We use self check out so they are in control of what we check out with and they love using the "doot, doot" machine. We had fun making this video and hope that you enjoy our grocery store adventure! We are a homeschool family who enjoys taking our learning in many different directions!
