Canucks held practice today before their matchup with the Washington #capitals tomorrow night at Rogers Arena.

Tempo was high and most of the practice was focused on effective puck retrieval and breaking-out of the neutral zone. Powerplay and penalty killing was highlighted throughout. Lately, the Canucks have been struggling with maintaining early leads, particularly when they are up 2-0 or 3-0 early on in the game. Today's practice hopefully simplified some key plays to ensure the team can play a full 60 minutes.
