Welcome to another video in the “Author Meets Critics” series. This online program features moderated discussions in which authors engage with academic colleagues, critics, and members of the virtual audience.
This session features a discussion of Simon Coleman’s "Powers of Pilgrimage: Religion in a World of Movement" (New York University Press 2022). Joining the conversation are John Eade, of the University of Roehampton, Lena Gemzoe of Stockholm University, and Mario Katic of the University of Zadar.
The discussion is moderated by Mathew N. Schmalz, Professor of Religious Studies at the College of the Holy Cross and Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Catholicism.
