Hello Guys,
I thought I'd do something different and face off a DE razor and a straight razor, in the end there was really nothing in it but the DE probably just got a tiny bit closer in spots. Which is better? A straight of course as they are just way way cooler and more fun.. I'm very much bias though.. lol.
Was fun to do and out of all the vintage Gillette's the red tips are about my favourites and I've had most by now, this one is near mint. Shaved super great even with the Gillette Platinum's that are pretty old themselves.
The Es-Ese 3118 straight razors are top tier territory for me and this one was it's first shave I'm near sure of it, Ern to me are on the whole about the best razors Germany produces on mass, but I've got a pretty big soft spot for J.A Henckels as well. This one has a very nice clean box.
Tested my new brush out also, first impressions are I really liked it, a bit firmer (which was better) and held the lather and created it really well, very impressed.
