Making a double threaded wooden screw and the nut to go with it. This is for a project I'm still working on and I'm not going into detail yet. Making the screw was relatively easy but the nut was tricky. I used the method invented by Hero of Alexandra in the 1st century. I made a special attachment to make it easier to advance the cutter. I had a few gos with some softwood to get it right first before moving on to the big oak piece.
