Today I rolled most of our bean fields. The purpose of rolling is to push the rocks and dirt down to make the surface even when the combine comes in at harvest. There has been some news about rolling soybeans at certain stages after emergence will increase the yield, we'll have to wait and see how ours turn out. Rolling will increase yields because you are getting more beans into the header, however, it could reduce your stand count.
