This is just one of the text animation of zneptun. He does so many other cool typo. what he does is real typography to me, I've never seen anyone doing similar before in Anime edits like him.

Why Fast Blur?
For the text to look like it's squeezing in horizontal direction, you need Blurs in horizontal direction.
So that's why we use direction specific blur, the native motion blur button will not help, neither RSMB can. So don't apply them.

Why Drop Shadow?
Ever had a trouble reading subtitles, as it getting camouflage with the video.
That's why, you need a text shadow so your text become clear and visible in every scenario.

Why Transform?
The reason I'm using Transform effect for scale rather than the native scale of the Text layer is because You will have a extra option to change the size of text anytime you want without messing with settings again.
I mean You just need to press shortcut "S" key for the scale menu to pop up, and you can easily change the size of the text real quick without affecting the animation settings.
This will be very convenient.

Why Precompose The Text Layer?
If you place them in different position without precomposing; your text animation gonna look weird as they all are animating with reference to a specific point.
Of course you can change the reference point everytime you change the text position too but it will definitely not be as fast and easy. Yes precomposing also has it's cons which you will notice it later or never. Well just remember this: you can always make your precompose larger than the main one.
