Rear Brake Pads and Rotor Replacement 2008 Ford Taurus X (Freestyle/Mercury Montego/Ford Flex)(Easy)

In this video I go through every step of changing out the rear brakes and rotor on a 2008 Ford Taurus X Limited. This is an easy DIY that can be done right in your driveway while saving yourself a lot of money by doing it yourself. Tools needed for this DIY:
1. 19 mm Socket
2. Breaker Bar
3. T40 Torx Bit
4. Flathead Screwdriver
5. Steel Wire & Brass Wire Brushes
6. 15 mm Socket or Wrench
7. 13mm Socket or Wrench
8. Heavy Hammer

Steps to Change Brakes and Rotor:
1. Safely lift car with jack and place on jack stands
2. Remove lug nuts and place tire to the side.
3. Remove rotor bolt.
4. Remove (2) 13mm bolts and remove brake pad section of caliper.
5. Remove (2) 15 mm bolts and remove remaining section of caliper.
6. Remove Rotor.
7. Clean and grease face of hub.
8. Install new rotor and rotor bolt.
9. Clean caliper, install new hardware, grease and install new brake pads.
10. Push caliper piston back in and reinstall caliper.
11. Reinstall wheel and safely lower car to ground.
