The Rising Volt Tacklers have arrived at the Blueberry Academy in Unova, a school where Pokémon battles are very popular. When there, they meet Lacey of the Blueberry Elite Four who gives them a tour of the Terarium under the academy where they also meet up with Anne and Nemona. This leads to Roy getting his first battle with Nemona in a while. Who will win?

Liko, Dot, Roy & Ult have begun their battle training against Pokémon in the Terarium to get stronger. However, Ult soon goes missing... Meanwhile, Roy receives training from Drayton of the Blueberry Elite Four and while his motto is to "keep it chill", his training is out of the ordinary. Will Roy be able to beat him?

Lacey has told Ult that his training will involve styudying Pokémon. Ult is reluctant so Lacey proposes a battle with the notion that if he loses, he does what she says. Ult is confident but ends up struggling and during the battle Lacey keeps giving him Pokémon quizes which makes him even more confused. Will Ult manage to defeat Lacey?

Anne has asked Liko to join her for some Ditto Block Hunting within the Terarium. While doing so, she does some battle training with Anne's Samurott but notices that Hattrem doesn't seem to be doing what it actually wants out of consideration for Meowscarada and Charcadet. Liko tells Hattrem that it can do what it wants, but Anne has some additional thoughts. Will Hattrem be able to do what it wants?

Briar has gathered Liko, Dot, Roy & Ult and has shared Terapagos' secrets and her theory on how they can purify Laquium. Roy is eager to do this and wants to leave the Blueberry Academy quickly but Drayton suggests he and Roy have a rematch first. Roy is hesitant but Liko and the others encourage him to participate. Will Roy manage to defeat Drayton?

Dot and Penny have gone to the Exceed Museum to gain some data on Laquium. After getting past security, things seem to be going well until they find Gimmighoul has gone missing. Then, they soon get spotted by Indi and Rubella, and then Chalce also shows up. Will they be able to find Gimmighoul, get the data and safely escape?

The Rising Volt Tacklers have received a message from Friede and it turns out he has been in space. Going to a scheduled landing point to meet with him, Friede's ship starts to malfunction and the parachute doesn't open causing the ship to come crashing to the ground. It's up to the Rising Volt Tacklers to all work together in order to help Friede. Will they be able to happily reunite?

Friede has returned to the Rising Volt Tacklers from space and tells everyone abotu the new information he has obtained on Laquium and his encounter with Instructor Starmie. Soon, Roy challenges him to a battle but Friede gives the shocking condition; if Roy loses, the Rising Volt Tacklers have to disband. Roy and Skeledirge face up against Friede and Charizard, who they have always looked up to. Will Roy manage to defeat Friede?
