As we usher in 2026, we the girls and young women of Sierra Leone stand boldly with one voice, demanding action, not promises. We expect this year to mark a new chapter where girls’ rights, safety, education, health, and leadership take center stage.
We urge your esteemed office to strengthen efforts towards inclusive policies, economic empowerment, and protection of girls and women across all regions. We seek meaningful engagement, representation in governance, and access to opportunities that will shape our future.
This is our time. When a Girl Child Speaks, the Nation Must Listen. Let 2026 be the year girls rise, lead, and are heard. We look forward to your leadership, commitment, and action.
