The Pardee Home (Oakland, California) home to three generations of the Pardee family. It was constructed in 1868 by California State Senator Enoch H. Pardee and is an excellent example of Victorian era (1837-1901), a villa to be exact. His son, George Pardee, a Governor of California also lived there. This video presents an introduction to the home and the family that played an important role in the history of California.
