The radio comedy team of Bob Elliot & Ray Goulding, performed thier magic on the radio, from the 1940s, through the 1980s. They did movies, TV, & Broadway, but radio was always their first love. Before becoming national figures on network radio, the two teamed up in 1946 at WHDH in Boston, where Bob was an announcer, & Ray was a newsman. The two realized they had chemistry together, and they started working together.

On this aircheck, you'll hear the final daily show the duo hosted, afternoons on 710 WOR New York. You'll also hear their long running feature, "Mary Backstayge, Noble Wife," a parody of the radio drama "Mary Noble, Backstage Wife."
