Frank Sinatra's New York New York on Pegna vacuum tube theremin by Maurizio Vento. This handcrafted concert valve theremin was made in Italy by the talented musician and constructor Mattia Pegna. Inside there are 5 vacuum tubes and you can adjusts the shape of the wonderful and warm sound with a dedicated knob. Note the pitch arm, similar to the one used in the out of production "Epro", the Moog Etherwave Pro theremin. This Pegna instrument has of course all the features you would aspect from a professional theremin (master volume, response volume, waveform shape and pitch knob). The sound is unprocessed, if not for a bit of reverb coming from the effect of the amplifier, a Behringer K450FX.
