This was my first (and only) film made for my one and only film class at U of H in 1986, produced by Steve Pratt and me. We filmed this from Midnight to 6 AM at the The Don'Key Mexican Restaurant in Pasadena, TX where Steve was working at the time. I accidentally underexposed every roll of film the first night (forgot to convert F-Stops to T-Stops), so we had to go back to the restaurant the next week and reshoot everything. I of course forgot to reshoot a couple of takes which is why a few shots here are dark. Actors were all friends (non-actors).
When I got a job at Channel 67 two years later I took advantage of their editing suite, transferring the original film to video and re-editing the movie to tighten it up and add music. I played the music in one take, watching the video on a TV while recording the keyboard. Enjoy!
