We Learned to Surf in Florida — Then Found Paradise at Silver Springs

We’re camping at Jetty Park Campground and spending a few days exploring Florida’s Space Coast and beyond.
Our first stop is Cocoa Beach, where we meet Baker, the owner of Sons of the Sea Surf School, who teaches us how to surf for the first time. After a full day of waves, salt, and laughter, we grab dinner on the Cocoa Beach Pier and catch the sunset.
The next morning, we drive north to Silver Springs State Park in Ocala, Florida, where we hop on a shuttle and paddle the crystal-clear Silver River by kayak and paddleboard.
Back at camp, Kellie cooks a Mexican pizza to wrap up an amazing few days of Florida adventure — from the ocean to the springs.
