Buses 1013, 1014 & 1015 have been officially removed from service and have been decommissioned. Prior to leaving to a local scrapper, to be ground into metal shavings (a grant requirement to get a big discount on an electric school bus). Some reusable parts are removed.
Remove newer tires and replace with tires with less tread remaining. Remove wheelchair ramp covers, misc. lights, lenses, tie-down rails etc.. mirror brackets strobe led crossover lights and such.
Their replacements will be 2024 Electric IC CE Conventionals. First 3 are due at the end of September 2023.
I misspoke in the video, preventive maintenance is every 45 days or 3,000 miles. Whichever comes first.
