(CNA, Taipei, December 24) According to the latest information from the Central Weather Administration, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake occurred today at 5:47 p.m. The earthquake had a depth of 11.9 kilometers, and its epicenter was located 10.1 kilometers north of the Taitung County Government, in Beinan Township, Taitung County. The maximum seismic intensity reached level 5-weak in Taitung County.
