I'm not sure where this song came from, but it's about Ohio.
I LOVE my home state but there are those times where you're like "I need to go somewhere else..." That's what this is about.
Nerd info to follow:
I recorded this to TAPE on a 1996 Tascam 414mkii using a Lewitt 240 Pro through a Presonus Eureka (vocals), and a Behringer C2 through their tube pre (guitars).
The rhythm and vocal were cut live in one take.
The reverb was added via a guitar pedal as part of the mixdown process in the aux of the Tascam.
I bounced a stereo mix to the DAW where the only added effects were some slight EQ and the limiter.
Remember back in the day when you'd read a CD label and it would say like AAD or DAD for the whether the recording, mixing and mastering were analog or digital? Those were good times.
This was AAD 🙂
