No Warm Up! First Lap Canyon Gap at Farmer Johns Bike Park | Perfect Dry Weather | MTB Over 40 SENDS

Back at Farmer Johns Bike Park near Stockport and conditions couldn’t have been better — middle of October and still bone dry! We thought the trip to Danny Harts Descend MTB Park last week must be the final dusty, dry mump session 🌞 The perfect weather made it the ideal day to send the canyon gap on first run in with no warm-up at all. Straight in. Full send. However, I then had a near collision with one of the friendly staff who was very kindly leaf blowing the trails and did not expect some middle aged nobhead from Hull to be coming towards him on the grass…. Completely my fault and general lack of talent. Sorry Pal!!

I’ll be honest — I was nervous when I rolled up, but sometimes you’ve just got to trust the bike (and your mates egging you on) and go for it.

Watch through to the end to see if I can finally get the Canyon and folloing jump without nearly coming a cropper on the run out!

Of course, @dannymuffitt sent everything like a boss (as expected). Please do find the time to check his channel and video for his version of today. Trust me when I say he makes the runs that I do look more like childs play compared to my stressfull drama show!! Not bad for a chunky lad…😂
