Friend called and said his 2004 Honda Odyssey just keeps on cranking over and not starting.
I went to see if I can diagnose it and guessed it could be a broken timing belt.

He had the car towed to my house. I then removed the air intake tubing and sprayed some carburetor cleaner into the throttle body. This is to see if it is a fuel problem. Turned the ignition and it started.
So next I loosen the fuel damper and asked my friend to turn the ignition. Car was cranking over, no fuel spilling over from the loose fuel damper.

I located the fuel pump relay on top of the brake pedal. While I hit relay with a screwdriver, I turned the ignition, it started for a couple seconds.

Problem is the fuel pump relay. Bought new relay and car started with no problem.

Opened up the old relay and noticed it had a bad solder connection with discoloration around it, possibly from high heat.
I resolder it, the car started. It worked!!
Advised my friend to just keep the new relay since we do not know if there will be another problem with it.
