I Just Wanted Bacon… What Happened Next Was Unexpected 😳

Today I’m out at a very busy food production site, having a wander around the area, checking boundaries, signage, and generally seeing what’s going on — all while enjoying some very British banter along the way.

I chat with staff, talk food safety, drones, cameras, bacon (of course), and even reminisce about past visits, Christmas parcels, and working life after retirement. No confrontation, no drama — just a relaxed conversation, plenty of laughs, and a reminder that common sense and good communication go a long way.

Despite my best efforts, I didn’t manage to score any free bacon… but I did meet a genuinely pleasant chap and had a great chat about photography gear, drones, YouTube, and life in general.
