Shadow Spells ✨️ Get the Most Out of Van Dyke Brown in Your Acrylic Pours

Hello my Beautiful People! Welcome to a very chilly night outside! I have been thinking of my Van Dyke Brown a lot lately, so tonight we are going to play with that color. I love the depth that this deep rich color creates, and I really love how it gives dimension to my art by looking like shadows within the art piece. Lets get started!

I'm using a 24x30 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artists Loft.
I am doing a Wanderlust pour, which is two wandering straight pours, poured from opposite directions. The goal here is to capture where the two sets of fingerlings meet, as well as some of the gorgeous Ombre areas on either side, leaving us with a beautiful almost floral or leafy pattern.

I love the deep colors in this piece, as well as the fact that adding the white created amazing contrast against the darker colors and really made them stand out.

There is van dyke brown outlining the fingerlings, creating that shadow effect.. giving us depth and shadows in this piece.
