This is the first video of a series of videos that will chronicle my choices and methods for building a 13' surf rod.
I will be blending rod features of Mark Burford's "Over the Bar" 13' surf rod and Tommy Farmer's CPS Gen II 12' rods.
This video shares the early stages of laying out rod glide placement, rod butt length, and many of the early details for laying-out a new rod.
