If there's one horror movie director working today that we need to take inspiration from, it's Robert Eggers. I've now fully watched all three of his main films, The Witch, The Lighthouse and The Northman. He's a director that inspires me with how much he understands the horror genre and in this video I am going to explain why that is. Enjoy!🎥

Robert Eggers is an American filmmaker and production designer. He is best known for writing and directing the historical horror films The Witch (2015) and The Lighthouse (2019), as well as directing and co-writing the historical fiction epic film The Northman (2022). His new film Nosferatu (2024) will be exploring the famous vampire figure Count Orlok. His films are noted for their folkloric and mythological elements, as well as his thorough efforts to ensure historical authenticity.
