I'd never played the original Half-Life so I decided to check out Black Mesa, Blue Shift, and Opposing Force back to back! I know Black Mesa isn't quite the same as the original HL but I still had a really nice time! Here's a little highlight reel of the second part of Black Mesa alongside Opposing Force in what is hopefully reasonably chronological order!

Opposing Force possibly has one of the best video game openings ever
