Chapter 1: The Heist 00:00:00
In the neon-drenched underbelly of Hakera City, Kai slips silently into the towering data fortress. Once human, now a seamless fusion of flesh and chrome, her neural lattice hums as she breaches the vault. Fingers dance over holographic keys, downloading the forbidden code: blueprints for Synapse Link, a tech that would chain every mind to the corp’s will. Alarms scream as Kai vanishes into the slick streets, heart pounding beneath synthetic ribs. The theft is complete—but the hunt has just begun.

Chapter 2: Pursuit 00:13:04
Helicopters slice the violet sky, searchlights carving through smog. Enforcement Division, the megacorp’s military arm, deploys hunter drones and black-armored operatives. Kai runs, boots sparking against wet asphalt, stolen data burning into her cranial drive. Gunfire echoes. A bullet grazes her shoulder, pain flaring through her dampened nerves. She dives into the subway tunnels, breath ragged, the glow of billboards reflecting in her mirrored eyes. The city itself seems to pulse at this moment.

Chapter 3: Overload 00:25:46
Deeper into the sprawl, Kai jacks into an abandoned server farm to decrypt and broadcast the codes. Synapse Link must never launch. But the upload triggers feedback—raw data floods her augmented brain. Fractured memories : human childhood, the surgeries, the corp’s lies. Visions of neon grids and screaming code overloaded every synapse. Kai collapses, convulsing, as the drones close in, red targeting lasers dancing across her trembling form.

Chapter 4: Transmission 00:55:45
With the last of her will, Kai beings to transmit. The codes scatter across darknet nodes, free forever. Operatives burst through the door. Kai rises, eyes blazing electric blue, and smiles. Bullets tear through her metal and flesh, but the signal is already out. As her systems shut down and neon fades to black, Kai whispers into the static: “You can’t own a mind.” In the distance, Hakera City’s billboards flicker—millions waking to the truth. Synapse Overload complete.
