Need For Speed Heat: Aston Martin DB11 Volante | FULLY UPGRADED | GORGEOUS AND FAST

I don't even care if it can't reach A-Rank. This thing is sexy and fun to drive, even without the unique Khyzyl Saleem bodyworks.

Handling: In Payback, the DB11 was also a fairly balanced car, placing near the middle of the pack of cars I've tested. I haven't driven the coupe in this game yet (a few videos down the line), but the drop-top Volante shares most of the coupe's handling features, despite starting out with an AMG Twin-Turbo V8 (which the real car does) instead of a Twin-Turbo V12 (the car's hood and side badges give it away). It doesn't feel as if its heavy, however it loses a fair amount of speed when drifting, and even though corners pretty well, it doesn't produce enough drag to straight-grip certain long bends at high speeds, literally forcing you to brake drift. There are also small instances that denote the car's instability, where it will just grab air from a small bump.

Performance Notes: strange enough, the Volante is actually a couple lbs. lighter than the DB11, mostly thanks to the weight of the AMG V8 engine its lugging around. However, unfortunately, none of the engines you can swap into it well help it achieve 400+...except the forged VR38DETT which you can tune to have over 1400 horsepower. Now, I might have to incorporate a different gearbox into this, because with the 8-speed in this, the car delivers next-to-nothing. In fact, it reaches its top speed at Gear 7. Stay tuned...

Conclusion: B-ranked Aston droptop. A much better convertible than the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder, and that car's much lighter. In terms of Coupe vs. Volante, if the DB11 Coupe has the same engine swap options as the Volante, the Coupe could prevail due to less stiffening additions that are in the Volante. IF THEY AREN'T however, it'll be very interesting. There isn't that much of a difference in weight between both cars, mostly due to different engines. So...we will see.
