Pierre Poilievre and Conservative MPs speak briefly with reporters on Parliament Hill as the party holds its first national caucus meeting since Poilievre's leadership win on September 10, 2022. The long-time MP and former cabinet minister secured 68.15 per cent of electoral points on the first ballot. The caucus meeting comes ahead of the return of Parliament on September 20. Speaking with reporters are House Leader John Brassard; MPs Marilyn Gladu, Gérard Deltell, Pierre Paul-Hus, Ed Fast, Chris Warkentin, Michelle Rempel Garner, Glen Motz, Dominique Vien, Richard Lehoux, Bernard Généreux, and Shannon Stubbs; as well as senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu.
