Yet, even as local farmers produce high-quality rice, Ghana spends more than USD300 million each year importing the grain. A strong preference for foreign rice continues to overshadow Ghanaian brands. This documentary seeks to make a case for Ghanaians to prioritize the consumption of Ghana Rice.
