信解行證

佛法修學之過程，概括起來，不出『信、解、行、證』。『信』，就是對三寶具有正信，相信佛陀所說的真理。佛法大海，信為能入；『解』，就是對佛法的義理獲得正解，瞭解佛陀所說的法門的真實義，否則，不解而行，那就是盲修瞎練。『行』，就是佛法所說的修行，依照佛陀所說的正法去修行；『證』，通過修行，最後得到證果，起般若智慧，見証佛陀所說的真理真實不虛，從此了生脫死，離苦得樂。這個就是佛法修行的整個過程。

Faith, Understanding, Practice and Realization
The process of studying and practicing Buddha’s Dharma can be summarized as "Faith, Understanding, Practice, and Realization." “Faith” refers to having right faith in the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha) and believing in the truths taught by the Buddha. In the vast ocean of Buddha’s Dharma, faith is the means of entry.“Understanding” refers to obtaining a right understanding of the principles of Buddhism, grasping the true meaning of the Dharma gates taught by the Buddha. Without understanding, practicing would be like groping in the dark. “Practice” refers to cultivation in Buddhism, following and putting into practice the true Dharma taught by the Buddha. “Realization” is finally attained through cultivation, when Prajna wisdom arises, and the truth of the Buddha's teachings is verified. This leads to liberation from the cycle of birth and death, getting rid of suffering and attaining happiness. This is the entire process of Buddhist cultivation.
