Here to watch is the build of the LEGO Concorde, released to buy early September 2023, on a sped up time-lapse.
In total it will take about 10-12 hours to build, but depending on the time you have on your hands!
It may seem complex, but really with the manual instructions, taking you step by step, you get to advance quickly.
Concorde will never fly again, but you feel thrilled building this beautiful aeroplane. The size is something else. Over a meter long with a wing span of 40cm’s, and height when on it’s LEGO built stand, 15cm.
Cool features is the under carriage that actually works using the tail, and also the nose dip’s also.
Living on the Bristol Channel, it’s unique to feel this LEGO modle is at home at the right place, with the two Severn Bridges in the foreground, Filton in Bristol and Yoevilton very near by, where she was made, the airline that was really way too advanced at it’s time.
British Airways and Air France protected her as much as they did, and to see the left Concorde’s you can see them at Yoevilton Fleet Air Arm Museam ( The test flight modle, but real life Concorde ), Bristol’s Aeropspce Museam in Filton ( Last Concorde to fly that rested back where she was produced ), Manchester Airport, New York City’s Intrepid Museam, on board the back of the Aircraft Carrier, which is the very Concorde that broke the record to fly the fastest time ever from JFK to LHR.
