To perform the BIOS Flash you will need the following items as a bare minimum.
A working PC to access the Internet and download the BIOS
A 32GB or smaller USB memory stick for the BIOS file
An ATX or SFX power supply to provide the motherboard with power during the flash process.
A suitable platform or support for the motherboard whilst flashing if not fully built into the case.

Other items that are nice to have but not necessary
A UPS or uninterruptable power supply for areas with frequent power outages.
