Guildford: Pewley Down - Newlands Corner Circular

From Guildford railway station, we walked towards the Wey and crossed it to the High Street. Then, we walked up Castle Hill to Warwick’s Bench. We turned to the Fort Road and entered Pewley Down. At there you can have a very nice view. After that, we walked the Burgess Way to White Lane towards Newlands Corner. We walked in the woods at first and then came out to the hill side to have a more open view. After arriving the Newlands Corner Visitor Centre, we began our return path from the trail besides the public toilet. It is a route in the woods until we entered the Guildford golf club unexpectedly. It is recommended to not entering the golf course for safe. Then we walked across the Merrow Down and went back on street again. Finally we finished our journey at Guildford Castle.

It is a lovely walk with 2 segments of walk in open areas. The most exhausted segment is going up the Castle Hill, but it’s just a 15mins walk. The weather today is super good with large cotton clouds hanging over sky. What a great day.

尋日去咗Guildford 行，由市中心先去Pewley Down, 嗰度有個無敵靚view😍，順便沿路睇吓啲豪宅。
之後行去Newlands Corner，呢個樹林又見到幾多有趣嘅樹，在山坡開揚處行咗一段，又係好靚。
最後去埋Guildford Castle, 圓滿嘅行程☺️
