Overhaul Knows The Secret Origins of Quirks in My Hero Academia

In the real world when everyone got infected by Mice we called it the Bubonic Plague, but in My Hero it seems like everything went another direction because of a little known fact left out of the My Hero Academia Anime. All the way back in Season 4 during the Overhaul arc, Deku battled Kai Chisaki who looked at Quirks and the act of being a hero itself as a kind of disease that he wanted to purge from the world, but in the manga we get more information on why Kai thinks this, given that Kai actually believes a long held theory in the world of the series that says that Quirks actually come from a sickness spread to humans from Mice. This theory has enough backing in the world that not only does the Original Destro use a mouse as the Logo for the Liberation Army, but it could also have ties to why Principal Nezu was experimented on by Humans, given that Nezu himself is a large Mouse like Dog creature that has a quirk, and he could really be MHA’s own version of Rocket Racoon, still waiting to have his dark story truly explored.
